This webpage displays the ParlText CEE dataset, developed as part of the V-Shift Momentum project at the HUN-REN Centre for Social Sciences. ParlText CEE is a comprehensive collection of legal and parliamentary texts, specifically focusing on Central-Eastern Europe (CEE). It includes nearly 1.3 million text vectors and metadata from parliamentary speeches, bills, and laws from Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia, planned to cover the period from 1990 up to 2024. The dataset features essential information such as dates, text content, titles, and, for speeches, parliamentary agendas, speaker names, and political parties. All data are interconnected via a unique identifier based on the ParlLawSpeech standard, ensuring consistency and ease of use. This webpage introduces the 1.0 release of ParlText CEE and provides insights into its potential applications for research in the region.
